Preview: Houston Rockets At Boston Celtics

The Houston Rockets are coming off a “leaky” win against the Washington Wizards on Saturday night, as they prepare to face off against the 13-25 Boston Celtics. The Rockets are 1-0 against the Celtics this season, defeating them by 24 points in mid-November. The Rockets are currently 1-1 on their 4-game road trip, with the Celtics and Pelicans remaining. Tipoff is scheduled for 6:30 PM and can be seen on CSN Houston.

 

The Matchups

Point Guard: Jeremy Lin v.s. Jordan Crawford

Crawford is averaging 13.8 ppg, but just shooting 41.8% from the field.

Edge: Rockets

 

Shooting Guard: James Harden v.s. Avery Bradley

One of those matchup problems for Harden. Bradley is an elite defender and is a capable scorer (14.4 ppg) as well. He scored 25 points in the Celtics loss to the Trail Blazers on Sunday.

Small Forward: Chandler Parsons v.s. Jeff Green

Parsons has been banged up lately but should be able to give it a go tonight. Green is leading the Celtics in scoring this season, averaging just over 16 points per game.

Power Forward: Terrence Jones v.s. Brandon Bass

Jones had 24 points in the first matchup between these two. Bass has been rumored in many potential Asik-Celtics deals, though nothing has yet to materialize fully.
