The Houston Rockets are coming off a “leaky” win against the Washington Wizards on Saturday night, as they prepare to face off against the 13-25 Boston Celtics. The Rockets are 1-0 against the Celtics this season, defeating them by 24 points in mid-November. The Rockets are currently 1-1 on their 4-game road trip, with the Celtics and Pelicans remaining. Tipoff is scheduled for 6:30 PM and can be seen on CSN Houston.
Crawford is averaging 13.8 ppg, but just shooting 41.8% from the field.
One of those matchup problems for Harden. Bradley is an elite defender and is a capable scorer (14.4 ppg) as well. He scored 25 points in the Celtics loss to the Trail Blazers on Sunday.
Parsons has been banged up lately but should be able to give it a go tonight. Green is leading the Celtics in scoring this season, averaging just over 16 points per game.
Jones had 24 points in the first matchup between these two. Bass has been rumored in many potential Asik-Celtics deals, though nothing has yet to materialize fully.
UPDATE – Bass will come off the bench
Humphries is likely to draw his 4th start of the season tonight. Howard is averaging 18.3/9.5 in 4 games this month.
Celtics - Rajon Rondo (Out)
Prediction – Rockets 107-91.
