The Brooklyn Nets come into Toyota Center as arguably the most disappointing team in the league with a 4-11 record. Both teams are coming off a day of rest after playing this past Wednesday night. The Nets will be without many key players, while the Rockets will be without Jeremy Lin. Tonight’s game is at 7:00 PM and can be seen on CSN Houston.
Harden is again a game-time decision though it looks like he will give it a go tonight. Johnson is the only Nets player to play in all 15 games this season. Johnson is averaging 15.7 ppg and shooting 43% from the field. Expect Johnson to try and take advantaged of an injured Harden and take many shots tonight.
It’s very weird watching Pierce in a Nets black uniform. Pierce has had major struggles so far averaging 13 points while shooting just 37.6% from the field. I’d like to think at this point in their respective careers, Parsons is the better player.
Terrence Jones has been on fire since entering the starting lineup and has had his fair share of tough PF assignments. Tonight he gets a struggling Garnett who is averaging under 7 ppg while shooting just 36.1% from the field.
Edge: Even (Tough call)
Brook Lopez is a game-time decision, but I’m going to guess he’s more likely to sit than play. Blatche is a nice contributor off the bench but will draw a tough matchup tonight if he’s a starter.
Injuries (Players Listed As Out):
Rockets: Jeremy Lin
Prediction – Nets have been struggling this season. Rockets 112-92
