Houston Texans Power Rankings Update Through Twelve Weeks

DEAD LAST. The average rank of the Texans for these publications this week is 32, whereas last week it was 29.43. Here are each major publication’s Texans ranking in their respective power rankings.

Andre Johnson caught two of six targets for 36 yards, all season-low totals, and had his first drop of the season in Sunday’s loss to the Jaguars. (Elliot Harrison)

Oh, man. This is what we’ve come to? Case Keenum struggled again, completing just 18 of 34 passes for 169 yards and no touchdowns with one interception. A colleague of mine whose name rhymes with Spaniel Sheremiah said it only was a matter of time with Keenum. Appears he was right on, seeing the results in Houston over the past two weeks.

With their putrid six-point showing Sunday, the Texans slipped to 30th in points scored. The last time they were buried in such depths was the franchise’s inaugural year of 2002, with David Carr under center. Houston had the NFL’s worst offense that season.

Has it really come to this? Are they this bad? Gary Kubiak has to be in trouble.

Yahoo Sports! (Frank Schwab)

They’ve earned this spot. What a terrible team. But, can you imagine them with Teddy Bridgewater next year? Still a lot of talent on the roster.

It’s rock-bottom with the Texans, and now Tom Brady comes to town.

What do you think of these rankings? Texans too high on some (HA)? Too low?
